Feed the 5000 Families Medley

There are people among us who hunger.
There are thousands in need of bread.
With the help of willing hands and hearts that care,
The hungry can be fed.
He fed five thousand with a few loaves and fishes
For He was God's own Son.
He calls for me to follow His example,
Be kind to everyone.
I will do His bidding, though the task seems hard.
His words I will not shun.
Though I cannot feed five thousand,
I can feed one.

Mine are the hands of Jesus. I am His hands.
And as the hands of Jesus, I understand
That I must do His work and follow His plan.
My hands belong to Jesus. They'll do the best they can.

Though beliefs may divide us, we share much common ground.
When we free our fears, a fellowship is found.
If we help one another, our hurts and sorrows mend,
We'll be more than just neighbors. We will find we're truly friends.
Let's work neighbor to neighbor, friend to friend,
Heart to heart and hand in hand,
Helping each other to build a better world,
Working neighbor to neighbor and hand in hand.

It's a chain of human kindness moving through the land,
Bringing smiles and raising spirits link by link and hand in hand,
Giving hope where it's needed, blessing lives, and so
Let's make this chain of kindness grow and grow and grow.

When you share what God has given you with those who are in need,
You show that you follow Him in deed.
Share the harvest with a neighbor; share the harvest with a friend;
Share the harvest with a stranger and do it all again.
Share the blessings God has given you, and show Him that you care.
Share the harvest with God's children everywhere.
Share the harvest with God's children everywhere.

Feed my lambs. Feed my sheep.
Feed my lambs, feed my lambs, feed my sheep.
If you love me, keep this commandment:
Feed my lambs, feed my lambs, feed my sheep.
Feed my lambs, feed my lambs, feed my sheep.

Let us work a little harder to feed His sheep.
Let us be the Savior's partner and feed His sheep.
There's a purpose to these verses:
We can hamper hunger's curses
If we open up our purses
And we feed His sheep.

There's a story often told
'Bout a boy who shared his lunch one day.
When he gave his fish to Jesus,
He helped to bear many burdens away.
We can bear one another's burdens if we share.
If we give to help the hungry, we can show we care.
Peace and joy while we are living
Come from loving, selfless giving.
We can bear one another's burdens if we share.

Happy is the generous soul who gives, then gives again;
Who feeds the children and the poor.
That soul is God's own friend!
God loves a cheerful giver
Whose heart is full of love,
Who praises God in gratitude for blessings from above.

There's a parable about a kindly King
Who called His people before His throne,
And He said to them, "All I have is yours.
This I give to you for the love you've shown.
I was thirsty, you gave me drink.
I was hungry, you gave me something to eat.
When my soul was locked in prison, you came to comfort me."

"When you did it to the least of these, you did it unto me.
When you helped your friends and neighbors, reaching out to those in need;
When you showed compassion on the man who was begging in the street;
When you did it to the least of these, you did it unto me.

Charity never faileth. It's the pure love of Jesus the Christ.
Charity never faileth. It's the pure love of Jesus Christ.

Be ye kind to one another
Just as Jesus is kind to you.
Treat each sister and each brother
Just as Jesus wants you to.

The Bible tells us to do good. (Do good.)
Do good! (Do good!) Do good! (Do good!)
The Bible tells us to do good. (Do good!)
We do good when we share with others!

I will do His bidding, though the task seems hard.
His words I will not shun.
Though I cannot feed five thousand,
I can feed one.
