"Music to inspire and nourish the soul."

Follow Your Quest

"Follow Your Quest" was written as part of a musical play for a church activity.

Lyrics
Follow Your Quest
My grandma used to tell me that my life belonged to me,
And I could choose to make it good or live it miserably.
Right now I know things in your life aren't as you wish they'd be.
Still you can make life turn out happily.

Follow your quest.
Find out what the Lord would have you do.
Follow your quest.
Then do the things your Father wants you to.
Though life may be hard, and the future looks bleak,
Have trust in the Lord as the right path you seek,
And follow your quest.

The quest to find your purpose will go on through all your days.
You must not ever give it up for fortune or for praise.
For life is always changing, and your purpose changes, too,
And you must learn what Father wants of you.

Follow your quest.
Find out what the Lord would have you do.
Follow your quest.
Then do the things your Father wants you to.
Though life may be hard, and the future looks bleak,
Have trust in the Lord as the right path you seek,
And follow your quest.

My grandma said that service helps a daughter in her quest.
We need to help each other in our troubles and our tests,
For no one in this world is supposed to be alone,
And friends can help us find our way back home.

Follow your quest.
Find out what the Lord would have you do.
Follow your quest.
Then do the things your Father wants you to.
Though life may be hard, and the future looks bleak,
Have trust in the Lord as the right path you seek,
And follow your quest.
Follow your quest.
Follow your quest.
